So, I did a dumb thing today. Well, tonight, actually. I was late leaving work and had 45 minutes to get somewhere that usually takes me an hour to get to. In my haste to leave, I forgot to take the parking break off. I ended up driving 25 miles (at an average speed of 60 miles/hr) with the parking break on. When I was almost to our apartment, my breaks started to go out.
Fortunately I had to make a stop by my house to pick up something I forgot. My husband was home, so I got to switch cars with him. It was the first time I'd ever been allowed to drive his new Beetle since he got it about a year ago. It was a nice drive. Now I'm wishing I could get a new car. I'd get a Matrix, though.
Well, that's the updaate on my day. Sorry there are no words of wisdom tonight. My quote books are on the other side of the room in my backpack and I'm too tired to move. I'll try and post something tomorrow in my copious spare time. Hope you all are having a great day. Me? I'm off to bed.
